Today I cleaning out the inside of my car when I noticed that the passengers side mat had water on it. It is rubber, so when I pulled it out, I noticed the carpeted mat was also wet as well as the carpet. The entire floor was soaked.
I removed the trim and liffted the carpet. The is foam rubber adhered to the bottom of the carpet ans that was acting a s a sponge. I removed the center console and actually took the carpet out. Next I felt the rear passenger carpet underneath and that was soaked. At this point I removed the seat and lifted the rear carpet which is soaked all the way to the back seat. It is going to take forever for it to dry.
I drove the car around the block and could hear water squishing around under the dash from around where the blower is. When I hit the brakes I can see it dripping from underneath.
I am guessing that it has to do witht he A\C unit and it not properly draining. Anyone hear of this before or hear of any TSB's on it? I have a call into the dealer and am waiting to hear back.
Blew out the drain line with a air compressor. I could hear all the water bubbling in there. Sure enough, the line started flowing. Must have been clogged. Now I have to dry it out and put it back together.
