On your 95 accord is it a manual trans or automatic?

If it is a manual trans sometimes there is a small screw that holds them unless it a factory knob the just twist it off counter clockwise ( To the left ).

If it is an automatic trans more enlikly there is small screw that is holding it in place.

It is a manual.. I have tried turning it counter clockwise, it turns a little and then stops and i have not tried to force it because i do not want to break it..there is also a little thing sticking out below the knob that you can feel under the boot..would that do anything?

The boot clips up onto the knob. Just grab the top of the boot and push down on it hard. Once the boot and the knob are seperated, you can unscrew the knob without a problem.

shit, you got the boot down but the chrome piece is still on there? hmmm, you shouldn't need to separate those two. . .the chrome piece should slide down with the boot. It's gonna seem like a huge bitch to slide that chrome piece down but it can be done. The clip is on the front nad back of the knob so pick the chrome piece down rocking it forward and back and you should be able to move it. THEN twist off that bitch of a knob.

I have the ITR boot and a gunmetal knob with red numbers on my 94 accord. I'm pretty happy with the knob. I have the forbidden motorsports short shifter and the knob screws right on. You can get the same knob cheap as hell on ebay here:

and the same boot here:

I just took the civic/integra bracket off the boot and put it in my accord. I wouldn't recommend the ITR boot though unless you are ognna do something else with your interior with red in it. At the time, I was gonna get a red/black carbon fiber trim kit, but I got out of doin stuff to my car for a while and it never happened. Now the red on the boot and knob just looks kinda weird (although it still feels good to shift, haha).
