98 LX problem..help
Here's the deal - My mom's got a '98 LX Accord with about 70k miles on it. About 2 weeks ago the car stalled at a stop sign, but started right back up afterwards, no odd nosies or problems. She brought it to a shop and they changed the spark plugs, the wires and the air filter. They also said that the fuel injectors needed to be changed. She didn't get the injectors changed because she didn't want to spend when $300 or whatever they said it would cost. The car stalled again today while she was idleing (i think, if not then driving reallly slow) through a parking lot. So does it sound to you guys like the fuel injectors need to be changed or do you think its something else? If it is the injectors, how big of a task is to change them myself? Thanks.
(the car is 100% stock BTW)

There was an ignition recall on 97-99 accords. Check to see if yours was included on that. The letter I got said something about the ignition causing the car to stall or something like that. That might be what's causing your problems.

Totally agree...check to see if your car is affected...there is a recall on the ignitions of some cars. if that fails, don't buy injectors, just go out and get like two bottles of fuel injector/fuel system cleaner and a bottle of dry gas. dump it all in and then fill up your tank
