accord ex computer in lx car????

accord ex computer in lx car????
Hey one quick question, I am about to install the 92 ex motor in the race car which is an lx, should i use the computer from the lx or the ex, the lx is a five speed and the ex ix automatic, Is this gonna make a difference, and will it work. Thanks

i did the same swap except i have a 1991 and i used the old tranny. you should do the same just use the old tranny. then you dont have to change anything. the only problem you might have is routing the o2 sensor my new harness ex has no hook up for o2. so the check engine lights on but whatever it runs beatifully.

Yes the ex that i got for the motor is an automatic car the lx race car is a 5 speed car i am going to use the lx 5 speed with the ex motor, i need to know if the ex ecu that is for an automatic car will work in the lx that is a 5 speed.
