Default I need some opinions on tail lights

I have a Black 97 Accord and i'm searchin for some cool tail lights to put on it. I was lookin around and found some Altezza carbon fiber ones that IMO look pretty hot. However I know that Altezza lights have a bad rep and a lot of people dislike them because of their quality. I just wanted to get some more opinions on if I should buy them or just look for somethin else and I also wanted to know if Altezza lights are really that bad. If you guys could give me ur opinions I'd appreciate it. The lighst are pictured at the bottom. Thanks

-Dave

I think a better option is to take your existing OEM taillights and "smoking" them. Basically you're gonna get some "spray tint" (available at most hobby stores or Wal-Mart) and coat the entire taillights (or just the amber part). I think this looks best on a black accord (or any black car).

If you get the said taillights (the tezzas) you'll be cursing them once you start getting condensation in them, or the red reflector falls out, or something will eventually go wrong with them. Save yourself the money and the headache and stick with what you already have.

TYC is virtually OEM quality and makes S-Type tails like mine in carbon fiber

TYC is the only option for people who want OE quality tails.

Oh good Lord pls not these. Go with red/clear or take your OEM and smoke the upper part. I have not seen any car with altezza that after a month or so one tail is dimmer then the other one or the bulb burned. Doesn't matter carbon fiber or not.

Haha sounds like you guys really hate altezza's. I really like the spray tint idea and i'll probably go with that. Thanks a lot for the advice guys
