If you are planning on doing the regular maintenance on the car yourself, then you should invest in a Helms service manual. That will not only get you through the easy stuff like oil changes, but other services you can do and save a bunch of money. www.helminc.com

As far as the oil change, you'll seriously get a plethera of how-to's if you do a simple search on a search engine. But specific stuff about the Accord...

It's best to replace the crush washer on the drain bolt to get a good seal, always tighten the bolt to the correct torque spec. As far as V6 change volume, I'm not sure on an exact number. On my I4 I end up putting about 4 quarts or so in.

my 02 accord takes 4.5 quarts, but it only needs 4.25 quarts each oil change. if i leave the car filter and oil cap off for 3 hours to drain it, it will take 4.35 and no more. a friend of mine has a kit to blow air through the dipstick tube to drain all the oil out. with mobil 1, the process is not neccessary since mobil 1 circulate and clean engine for you.

Man I recently changed my oil and had the new smaller honda oil filter on, needless to say an hour and a half later that bith finally came off. That shit is so damn small I could'nt even use my oil filer wrench. Never again. I have K&N gold filter now.
