Default whiing noise after power steering line & pump replaced

I had the power steering line & pump replaced on my 2006 Accord. Since then I now have a whining/whirring noise when I accelerate or am running at a higher RPM. The shop has bled the power steering a couple of times to no avail. The noise does not increase when steering, so I'm not sure it's air in the system or some other problem. The noise is driving me nut! Any ideas?

check the belt tension on the power steering pump? (and any other belts: alternator, air conditioning compressor)

take care,

I was actually going to say the same thing. Its not a joke or a suggestion. You HAVE to use either Honda power steering fluid or PSF specifically designed for Honda vehicles. If you don't it will make all kinds of weird noises and eventually just quit working all together.
