97 Accord gauge cluster

97 Accord gauge cluster
So I have a 97 ex Accord.
Currently the whole gauge cluster has stopped working as well with the windows and shift knob forcing me to unlock it manually with a key. I've found out that the 10 amp fuse that powers the cluster and windows has blown but, it keeps blowing upon replacing which has led me to figure it's a short somewhere in the wiring. My question is, has anyone here had this identical problem and found the solution? Or at least the area where it was affected. I was hoping someone would have a quick solution I can find instead of going through everything trying to find it.

Recent damage?
if so, check for pinched wires at the damaged location.
When the cluster power first went out, what was the last thing you remember doing?
(look at the wiring diagram for your car to find out what's on the 10A circuit that keeps blowing)
Usually, if the cluster lights go out, the rear brake lights are also out.
does the horn work?
(I had a fuse keep burning out because one of the horns was damaged/shorted internally.)
Check the grounds: battery neg post, car body, valve cover, transmission, thermostat body(main ECU ground).
take care,
