just changed oil/filter, now idles rough?? Please help
My Mom just got a 2012 Accord SE 2.4 Automatic. We just changed the oil for the 1st time since she got it used about 3 months ago. We used 0W20 Mobil 1 full synthetic oil and a Bosch distance plus filter.
Almost immediately after, it now idles rough- but only when in drive. It's most noticeable when stopped and idling. But when it's in park it idles smooth, just like it used to idle before the oil change. It's got about 44,000 miles on the car. I don't know whether it could be the oil or filter or what. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It looks like you are using the correct weight.
My 2013 Accord LX is spec'd for 0W20 also.
I'm used to my old 1991 CRX Si which worked fine on 10W40 or 20W50. 0W20 viscosity must be almost like water.
Nothing special in the oil change instructions in my owner's manual. (just standard oil changing steps.)
It's probably a vacuum hose somehow got disconnected. (check that the oil fill cap is snug.)
take care,
ChrisS

Thank you for your help. Good idea i'm going to go check the hoses today.
I was just wondering if it's possible an oil filter could be causing this symptom. Maybe I should have just got a Honda oil filter. Could the Bosch be holding pressure differently or something? My experience is only with older cars and I never had any issues like this on any older car after an oil change. So weird.
