My sister bought the first Accord which was a '98 Accord LX sedan(regent silver metallic) and then I bought an '01 Accord EX sedan(nighthawk black pearl). Both were brand new when bought and are both still running strong even though both of us have gone to bigger(for my sister) and better or smaller(me) things.
When I was a kid my parents had an 84 Accord LX-i (fuel injected! woohoo!). I learned to drive on my dad's 94 Accord EX auto coupe. My first car was a 91 Mitsubishi Galant, which I got rid of in favor of a 95 Integra LS hatch 5M. I sold that two years and one month ago to buy a 94 Accord EX auto sedan, which was actually the same colors (dr. green with tan leather interior) as my dad's old car. I just sold the 94 Accord and bought an 04 Accord EX coupe with a stick, and the new one is far and away a better car. The interior has changed radically (no more backaches) and the engine is awesome, except that power drops off pretty rapidly above 6000 rpms. Four cylinders of fury, I suppose. In a month since I took delivery I put 2200 miles on it.
