2000 Accord F23A To F20B Swap
Hey Peepz, its been a minute for me on here since my teggy is runnin again:yay:, but I gotz some issues wit a 2000 Accord coup
. The F23A SOHC vtec seems to have a block issue. Did some research and looks like a hairline crack on the inside of the block that leaks oil into the coolant reservoir. There seems to be no fix for this issue other than an engine swap
. So we want to get info on how much work would go into swapping out the F23A for a F20B DOHC vtec. I know the tranny should line up as they are both F-series engines, but would like to know about the harness, computer, motor mounts and such. The engines can be bought for the same price, but trying to go with the F20B to avoid the block crack that seems to be common on the F23A. Please Accord people, give me as much info you can on this swap as I don't know how much longer this engine will hold up.
