Civic Si rims same as 2001 EX rims?

I'm looking to purchase '99-'00 Civic Si rims for my Civic and someone emailed me saying they had a set of 2001 Civic EX rims which are the same thing.

Are these the same rims and are there any differences in the tires that come with them? Should I be willing to purchase these rims at the same price I would be willing to purchase the '99-'00 rims for? Thanks!

As far as I know they are the same. Good question on the tires though, I'm sure someone will know that.

To my recollection, the 2001 Honda Civics did not have the same rims or tires as the 1999-2000 Civic Si coupe.

i believe they are optional on the 7th gen coupes, I rarely see any of the 7th gen with them, I only see the stock 15'' donuts w/ hubcaps. And the tire sizes are different, they are thicker for the 7thgen optional then the 99-00 si's are.

I see lots of 7th gens running around with the 6gen SI wheels, i think they are a factory option package. In fact a girl that went to my HS just got a silver 03 with those wheels on em it looks much better than the steelies

Agreed. Regardless of whether or not they came as a factory option, realize that the tires are different sizes.

MAN! I had put an ad up to say that I was interested in purchasing some '99-'00 Si rims or some '03 Civic rims.

The guy that contacts me says he has the same ones on his 2001 Ex. Turns out his sedan had hubcaps that look like Si rims.

How am I ever going to find a set of Si rims in the Kansas City area!?!?! Someone Help Me! = )

The only difference between the 99-00 Si wheels and the 03 Ex wheels is the finish. The Si's come with a machined finish while the Ex has a painted finish. Well, this is what I saw at the dealer anyways, I don't know if they're all like that.

Besides the tire sizes (newer Civics have the larger tires) the only other difference is the center cap. Si's have non-enclosed H's in the center cap. The newer Civics with the Si alloys have an enclosed H.
