talk me out of not getting civic
I sold my 93 ex like 2 months ago, planning on gettin a 5g hatch and swapping my ls motor after building it up. After looking for a lil while I was hit with another possibility: 95-98 saab 900 turbo convertible. I test drove one and there's just somethin about em. And no-one in my area has one. In my area civics are a dime a dozen and even though fast one's are hard to come by I think the saab thing would be somethin really unique to do. all of that to say i'm feelin guilty for considering goin the non-honda route.
Give me some good reasons to stay faithful!

The SOB...I mean Saab is an ugly SOB
It's not as reliable and when something goes wrong, it'll cost an arm, leg, left nut, and your first born to fix it.
It's hard to work on. You probably couldn't do anything youself unless you're really skilled.
That said, get the Saab. You want it, so get it.

What the @#$%? How do you start this thing?
Oh ya thats right its in the middle of the seats where the arm rest should be.
If you like to customize cars why get a saab. Last time I looked SPOON didn't carry any parts for it.

The man has it right. With a SAAB, it's wicked expensive to get it worked on no matter where you go. Parts are outrageous, due to the fact that Not too many people make aftermarket parts for them. I used to have a 900 T and it was a fun car, but I was fawked if something went south. With the Civic, my insurance is 750 for 6 months instead of 1800. The gas mileage is wayyy better, cheaper parts, easy to work on yourself or easy to learn to work on it yourself, they're not as boxy, they're usually less expensive to buy from the get go, besides.... the bitches LOVE a civic.
