yum, new grill, pics
Got my new grill. I used to have a cheap aluminum homemade grill that looked like crap if you got within about 10 feet of it, and it scratched the hell out of my car when I initially installed it.
Well, hitting a small deer solved that problem. I got a nice new front bumper, the old one being split into two pieces, and my homemade grill laying on the side of the road somewhere along route 19 in West Virginia.
I felt kind of naked without a grill, but I didn't want a cheap one anymore. I looked all over ebay and crap but I didn't find anything that was decent for reasonable price. Then I remembered that we have a grill company as a sponsor – www.grille-tech.com, so I called them up, placed my order and a few days later I had a lovely triangular box at my doorstep.
Installation was a breeze, they included some nice thin zip ties and some hints on how to make them less noticeable. Well, I installed it in about ten minutes. Easy as pie. mmmmmmmmmm pie, yum. Well I sat back and looked at the new grill. It was nice, but I decided to get creative. I took the bumper off, and using some zip ties I had laying around, I put the grill back on so that the bulky part of the zip ties were behind the grill.
I think it looks nice and subtle.
