Default Help with turbo questions.

I just purchased my new turbo setup yesterday for a 96 civic ex and yes it is my first. My questionis to those that have or know alot about turbos is do you recommend a turbo timer and if so which one. I have a PRofec B-spec boost controller and the turbo kit is Fmax.

Also if the timer runs when you shut the car off can you still activate the car alarm. I think it would set it off

Thanks in advance.

I guess getting one would be good, but personally i never used one on my old hatch. I just sat in my car for a few minutes after driving. They seemed like a waste of money

you have to wait for the timer to turn off before you can turn on alarm or use keyless ... unless the new ones have features I know nothing of
