*PiCs*made my own earth ground cables*PiCs*

i bought 17 ft of 8 awg monster cable audio cables then bought the ring terminals and put em together then hammer it together and also solder to ensure a good connection. it also came with heat shrink wrap, makes it look clean dont it?

finally, i have all four 8 awg cables run into a distribution block, and a 4 awg cable will come out of it and connect straight to the battery. looks great huh.

and all this cost me less then 15 bukks

hmm maybe i should make theses and sell em?

I used some leftover 4 gauge and bought some cheapy copper ring terminals in the welding section at Fleet Farm to replace my grounds... But there were only 3 wires that I replaced (valve cover, by tranny, and neg. battery)....

They ground your motor better so that you have more free flowing current. More of an effiency mod... very nice. What are the ground points you plan to use?

I thought the idea is to have a common groud point.

meaning everything it grounded to a single point.

What is everything considered though? Like alternator, engine, transmission... What are the key components?

in import tuner, a 240sx made like 8hp at the wheels with a hyperground kit. a prelude made 0.9hp with a kit. i guess hondas are well grounded to begin with.

So would it be better to do it as outxider did, and put them all to the neg. bat. terminal. Or should you take it from all the parts, and ground it to a good grounding point on the body somewhere?

The hyperground kit has you mount on the body on the opposite side of the battery - to the intake - then to the opposite side of the head - then to the tranny and battery - then from the battery back to the body. It's one big daisy chain. FYI
