Default Need MAJOR Help w/OEM FOGS!!!!! **HELP**

Heres the problem: I got into an accident a while back and needed a new bumper etc. So I figured I would have the shop that was fixing my car cut the slots so I could put in my OEM style fogs. I showed them exactly what needed to be cut and they ended up cutting the entire slots out comepletly (As shown below). I could go back and complaign but I was given a very good deal on getting it fixed because I knew the owners daughter (shes a teacher at my school)...heres the pics:

SO...how can I go about putting them in? I don't have really to much to screw them into or anything. My dad suggested drilling holes in the frame and bolting them to that, but I don't think they'll fit right. The other thing is possibly using brackets to hold them in, but again I don't know how to go about getting the brackets screwed down...anyone have any suggestions on what I could do??? I'm really stumped here...

maybe, just maybe you could mount them to some sturdy plastic and mount that onto the bumper to achieve the stock look again, but i'm kinda stumped on how'd you go about mounting it to the bumper securely

You live in SoCal? I have an OEM bumper I'm getting rid of that hasn't had the slots cut out yet.

you can't do anything about it cause u need those slots to screw in the fogs, and to hold the brackets. you could have EASILY cut the holes yourself, if you were going to install your fogs by yourself in the first place...you need a new bumper, new one costs around 450 painted, you could get it cheaper if you got the "hook up" from that shop that did it.

$450 for just the bumper and paint?? thats crazy dude. i paid $500 flat for a new OEM bumper and fender painted and fitted, my hood re-painted and fixed and thats including labor...

isn't their some way i can get the oem fogs in somehow? their has to be a way?

haven't you been paying attention? There's no way unless you want to melt the plastic pieces back on and start over.
