Alternator from accord?
Ok this is stupid. Dad is being a cheap bastard and because he couldn't find a civic alternator at the junk yard he got one from a 94 accord. I can already tell the accord one is bigger. Which makes sense because the accord has more features and probably has to pump out more juice than the civic one.
The pulley is also different, again i had expected this. Dad wants to swap pullies and see if this will fit.
Now i don't see any reason worth doing this simply because i i'm not a fan of junkyard alternators. You have no idea when they will stop working and there's no warrenty. They are great in a pinch since they cost 15-20 bucks but anywya........
Has anyone used an accord alt on their civic. This is going in the Del Sol.
Before i got and waste time lifting the car and measuring everything will this fit or even work?

nvm. I got bored and decided to measure, its def bigger in diameter. For whatever if someone wants a bigger alt for a stereo or something the accord alt won't fit.
Tis to fat of a brick to stuff in that hole
