would the right side taillight wiring harness from a 2000 civic fit a 2000 acura EL
are the bulb sockets the same size
will the harness plug from the civic fit the EL

Head over to Sylvania and see of they take the same bulb type. Then with a little splicing im sure you could get it to work. I don't know that everything would be interchangable by default. It wasn't until 2001 that the EL was built on the civic platform. Up until 2000 it was based on the Japanese Honda Domani.

Yeah if your just looking to pigtail the sockets im sure it will work fine. The lighting harness isnt that complicated. Might I ask what happened? Just cant find the EL parts in the US?

the right side brake light in a 2nd gen EL crapped out
changed bulbs and fuse still no light
so i firgured that the taillight wiring harness fron a 7 th gen civic would work in a 2nd gen EL


so would it work?
