revisions on 01-02 civic?

i was just flipping through an old issue of automobile when i saw a small article on how they made some corrections to the 02 civic. firmer springs, more cabin insulation and what not. is this true? they said the first 01 7th generation civic rode like a taxi-cab so honda did some changes for 02

For '02, Honda has made some modest revisions to the Civic's suspension and steering, intended to improve control and comfort and reduce noise and vibration.
Additional insulation cuts noise in the cabin, which receives a few tweaks to trim and equipment.
