Default just got some new rubber, yokohama style.

last night i got me a brand new set of yokohama avs es100 tires... they are pretty nice lookin... (http://www.yokohamatire.com/04b2m.html)

i got them for 93/tire plus tax.. that came with mounting and balancing, free lifetime repair, free lifetime rotation, valve stem, prorated road hazard warranty, and insurance which means no matter what, in any case, if the tire is unusable it is replaced free of charged.. that was an extra 20-30 bucks i believe for that...even i took a knife to the sidewalls or if someone else did..

Sweet, I was gonna debate between those and the Spec-2's. The only thing that is keeping my glued to the Spec-2's is the 300 treadwear rating as opposed to the ES' 280 (it's a daily driving tire). What size did you get?

Tire rating are not standard i believe. Everyone has their own ratings based on their best judgment.

I believe these are the successor to the oldschool AVS Intermediates.

Yeah they are. Most argue that Yokohama should've just kept the AVS rather than make the ES.
