Shifter problem
i have a dc short shifter, and for some reason when i shift it seems to catch alittle going into gear, it just seems to pause alittle and then it goes right in. is there a reason for that? did i install it alittle wrong or something. 2nd gear has always seemed to catch alittle since ive owed the car, when i installed the short shifter, it helped me shift faster but now catches alittle on all gears.
Any suggestions?

try swappin ur stock shifter bushings out for some polyurethane ones. they like 15 bukks max and do wonders.

Long way from home
Is it hitting your exhaust heat shield? Mine was. When I stuck my head out the door and shifted, I could hear the banging. I just took it off.

try some heat wrap around the exhaust next to the shifter.
