<--- right there..
there is 2 and the big middle one that is the strut... what are those bolts? the one on the drivers side closest to the driver is broken off on my car... i need to know what it is so i can see what to do to replace it.. so that i can add an upper strut bar

#7 - BASE, SHOCK ABSORBER MOUNTING
I would just call it an upper mount.

i agree....its the top of the shock shaft...it covers it up so it doesnt shoot up into your hood.

Those bolts connect your shock absorber mounting base to your car, your strut is the middle one, seems to me you should be more worried about fixing it for saftey then a strut bar,but that's my opinion.

Looking at the picture more closely it looks like the arrow is pointed at the hole for the factory bar

you could use polyurethane bushings there....it would last longer and less flex
