Gonna get some wheels
#2
If you're going for speed, the smaller wheel would be better, ride might be rougher with the size difference as well. For some odd reason my ride was better with 215/35/18 than 205/40/17.
All depends on what purpose your car is used for.

Thats my biggest concern, Though I don't plan to really make it any faster, I don't want to slow it down either. How much slower would 18's make it? How bout the handleing as well? Thanks for the input. I've never really looked into wheels before

18's SUCK ROYAL BOOTAY for racing.
The 35 series rubber is crap. Yes, they look sweet. Yes the ride will be a bit rough. But as far as racing goes, well drag racing anyway, good luck launching.
The one time I ran my Sol with 18's by best 60' time was 2.444 !!! I tried launching at various RPM's and got mad wheelspin if I launched at anything over 4000rpms.

Larger wheels, unless they are ULTRA light weight, are just that much more rotational mass for the car to move if you're racing. Go for lightweight 15s or 16s...
