Wilwood: Lots of track guys use them, but their calipers look like toys to me...

Spoon: I'd definitely get them, but they only make 5 lug applications, if I do a conversion, I'd need new arms, hubs, wheels...etc.

Brembo...I'd never go with anything otherwise, but I'm undecided on going with Brembo, or try out this other company rotora.com : They're offering me discounted rates if I try/promote their products.

If you want a BBK for the rear, make sure it's balanced braking power... don't want more in the rear...

fastbrakes makes a rear big brake kit, but you have to have existing rear-discs. Their Willwood front kit also fits under 15" wheels, but it costs about $700. The Willwood kits from Summit costs like $600, but you need at least some 16's, and they don't fit some 16's, so you may need 17's to fit them.

Um ok. Have you ever, EVER driven your car to the point of brake fade? If you really wanna drop 2 grand or however much Brembos cost to put on a freakin street-driven Civic be my guest. That brings new meaning to the word overkill.

On to the issue of rear brake upgrades. Ideally, you want to have the front and rear wheels lock up at the same time. The logical course of action then, is to upgrade the fronts to something larger and then play around with your options in the rear to get everything balanced again. Slapping on upgrades both front and rear means you might end up with the rears locking first which is a pain in the ass to deal with.

c2's and c3's are the worst rims to have for big brakes... i have c2's on my accord, and they *barely* clear the stock brakes.

Brembo. If you're going to get big brakes, I'd rather get the best. Price shouldn't be the ultimate guide to performance. Bigger calipers also help shorten braking distanaces... no brake fade is just one of the many advantages.

Dan: I see, hmm, I might have to look into spacers then... I definitely got to get rid of those dinky calipers.
