Default Need Help Fast!!!

I have a 1992 Civic Lx, replaced radiator, fans work, thermostat is new, and no fluid is leeking. Why did it heat up on me? Randomly, then just go bac to normal.

Were you having overheating problems before you replaced the radiator?

Sounds like it to me. If you're not THAT savvy, I'd take it to a radiator shop, and have them look at it. $20 to save you a headache. Just watch them do it. Cooling system can be weird. There are a lot of scenarios that can make your car Heat up bad, then level off.

had the same problem. there was air in the system just run the car in your driveway and leave the radiator cap off. after a while you should see the level in the radiator has gone down so pour more antifreeze in. keep doing that till the level stops dropping. shouldnt take more than half an hour if you dont know what your doing.

I new a guy that had the same problem he installed a new radator,new hose's and put in a new thermastat that was faulty. It just wouldn't open up hardly at all.
