IM pulling the motor now, So far from the out side all u see is a dent in the oil pan, once i get it pulled i will take it apart and see what the rods did.

First and Second con rods are gone, second being the worst. The head is still good. Sometime this weekend i will yank off the pan and see how many pieces of rod there is, and see if the block is salvagable. I got a Z6 to put in tmrw.

That is some carnage right there. Waiting on pics of the rods. I'm sorry that I am entertained by your misfortune.
I doubt the block will be salvageable. Why take the risk when you can get another D-series block for dirt cheap? |

hes not reusing it, just checking to see IF would be useable. As far as the dates on the pics, when we charge the battery on the camera you have to set up the date when you put them back in, i didnt.

Well i got the motor in and all the fuilds in, then i found out my DX ditz wont work. So tmrw i have to go the the Junk Yard and go pick one up. IM so close, I cant wait to have my car back.

OMG! Holy crap man!
Shit! Fawk! Part of me is going ... aaaw, I remember all those parts... and the other part is like... proud of it for giving its life for you. That was an odd D15. It's the only Honda motor I've ever seen in a civic that made more torque than horsepower on a dyno. Aside from it being all busted up (those rods are a work of art), look how clean it still is. I rebuilt it at 114,700 miles, what are you at right now?

I just got the Z6 up and running now, i got an idle problem but its running. Next week i got an ECU coming in. Im not sure what im gonna to dolock is with the motor, the block is perfect, and the same with the head. I Never new B7 had crank gridles. I thought only Z6 had them. I might see if the guy at my work who builds race car wants to buy it.
