Default Nitrous advice help me please

I have a 93 honda civic dx hatchback with a D16Y8 motor, most of my parts are from the 95 civic si, like the tranny and the harness is from a 95 civic si vx model, believe it or not this car runs good. I am thinking of runnin nos but i've heard alot of bad stories that if something was to go wrong like a little pin hole in the line, a person could blow up. Any advice and how many psi would u recommend for me not to exceed.

Nitrous isn't flamable. It just increases the burn when it reaches the cylinder. Pinhole leaks are easy to notice anyway if you have a PSI gauge on the bottle or in the car. When you open the bottle the numbers won't be where they should. Nitrous can damage a motor but if you run a 55 65 shot, get colder plugs and tune your timing I think one or two degress it will last a lot longer than just strapping a bottle in and hitting.

usage is a big factor here.. can you also state how much you use it or how many bottle's full you have put through your engine.

I personally put 5 bottles through my d16z6 before with upgraded fuel system & plugs & had no problems. Then swapped.

I never finished doing nitrous in my car. I couldn't find just the ZEX box and I already had everything else.
