    legal swap???

    I'm from california, so smog laws are a pain in the a$$. I was wondering what swaps would be legal for my 96 civic ex. Any info would help, Thanks!

    I don't live there, but I know it has to be of the same year (as the car) or newer. I "heard" that it has to be of the same chassis type (I.E car engine into car and truck engine into truck, no truck engine into a car)....Let me put emphasis on the fact that I HEARD that part....I cant confirm if that aspect is true.....
    All emission control devices must be intact and you must not have any cel's. All products (aftermarket) must be C.A.R.B exempt....(intake, header, exhaust,turbo, etc)
