call honda, buy new harnesses. eac bulb socket will only fit in a certain hole in your tail light. then, it's all juss a matter of placement. about a 10 minute job

you can get ahold of haynes shop manual, and use the wiring diagram in the back to re wire them. however, it's time consuming and a royal pain if someone jacked eeverything up. lol, i gave up after 2 hours of wiring. i gave in & bought the harnesses.

I had to re-wire my tail-lights when I bought the car. It is actually really simple. The taillight/brake light has 3 wires going to it, 1 power(red) 1 ground(black) and 1 that tells it to light up when you hit the brakes(green). The reverse light is really simple, 2 wires 1 power(red) 1 ground(black). The turn signal I think has 2 wires also, I dont remember exactly though. You simply hook the correct color wires to the correct color bulbs. Usually the ground for the taillight and reverse light are the same wire at the harness so run the ground from the brake light to the reverse light, connect them, then run a wire from the two to the ground at the harness.
