The best oil for your car's engine is 85W140. It is thick, so it works the best. :lmfao: :screwy: :slap:

ok, thanks

the reason i need to know is because i will be taking my car to Mr. Lube to do my next oil change. up to now i have been taking it to a local honda dealership to do my oil changes, but they are ripping me off. each time i go there, they find something wrong with my car that costs hundreds to fix. in my last 4 visits the bill has been close to $1000 each. my car has had zero problems (outside of following the Honda maintenance schedule) until i started bringing my car to them.

what can we do about unethical dealerships?

Four quarts of 5W30 will do the job.

Oil change = DIY. It's way cheaper and you know it's done right.

I'm too lazy. Have to get someone to pick up on the fender so I can slide a jack under it, have to wait on the engine to cool, etc. Easier just to spend the extra $10 and let someone else do it in 20 mins.

Ideally, it should be done with the engine as hot as possible.
