Default How do I install a Momo Steering wheel

Can anyone please help?! Im trying to install a Momo steering wheel on a 2000 Civic Ex. I have SRS which i know i will lose. The problem is i dont have instruction on how to hook my horn and how to install this wheel at all....

Can anyone please help me out?!? I have been searching high and low for instructions and no luck..

first off, get a service manual (helms) [look in the online resources post in the sticky] to see how to disconnect the SRS. you dont want that thing going off on you.

everything else is self explanatory. install the hub where the steering wheel use to be. attach the steering wheel to the hub with the included hardware.

the horn will not work. you will need a shoehorn contact piece from the 88-91 crx/civic. i believe there is a write up that can be found in our diy forum or this civic forum.

i believe there is a connect tab on the horn button on a momo steering wheel,
you wire the horn to that

Shoe horn contact piece? Is this the same shoe horn found on older wheels...copper, bow shapped piece with a spade at the end? GREAT IDEA! Thanks.... Ilm sure it will work....ill post pics tomorrow.

yes, but it will do nothing without a contact.
