Default B16 hydro tranny?

Who here knows what is normally the top speed with a B16 tranny 00 SI or delsol vtec. Example. At 8000rpms in 5th gear what speed are you guys with B16 trannys at or around??? If you don't have 8000rpms give me 7000rpms. I'm trying to figure out something cause I may get that tranny and sell my GSR tranny cause I love that ratio. Just don't like it for the Highway.

b16a has shorter gearing than the GSR....so lets say in fifth at 80 you are at 3500 rpms, on the b16a gearbox you will be at 4500 rpms

7000 or 8000 rpms in what gear? I think the question you are asking is a little vague to answer properly.

Well, those rpm's in fifth gear.. I would be worried with more then just gas.

such as speed wobbles, blowouts causing immediete flips... etc.

edit: that is if he is hitting 8k RPM in fifth gear with full traction..
