Fog light wiring help??
My friend needs help wiring his fogs. Here's the post he made on Honda-tech:
wasup guys, i recently bought me the 99-00 civic fogs and i have an EG, im trying to refit it onto my car cuz i just like how the 99-00 looks... problem is, my EG doesnt come with the brown plug, it comes in the 99-00 civics, its a brown one pin connecter i think...i got advice from this one guy, he said i can rewire it to my fuse box or something.. i dunno what i should do...help! any of you guys did this? the cuttin the bumper isnt a problem, just the rewiring n stuff
EDIT: do you think it might be like TUCKED UNDER THE WINDSHIELD WASHER RESERVOIR, cuz i looked around it, i didnt see it, i tried pulling on it, ima take it out, see whats under , still some help would be nice
This is what wire he is talking about:
move the fuse box connection to the RUN/ACC port that is activated when parking lights/headlights are on.
This way, I leave fog light button turned ON at all times, then turn on automatically with headlights, and flash when I arm my alarm (which flashes parking lights)
Is there anyway he can hook it up to the fuse box to make them work?
