Default quick question--liquid gasket :oh:

I've got some work to do inside the head today. I'm flat broke, so I was wondering if I could use this generic liquid-gasket stuff instead of hondabond to seal the outer cam caps.

TIA

(b16a BTW)

Permatex Ultra Grey is EXACTLY the same as hondabond and 1/3 the cost.
If you look on the back of the packaging it states it can be used inplace of honda, toyota, blah blah's own sealant. I use it all the time

I have never used Hondabond in my life. Just the cheap gray sealant from Autozone.
