I took my rear seats out today and found on either side of the car under the rear seats orange connectors mounted with wires leading off somewhere. Here is a picture:

They appear to be RJ-12s. Anyone know what they're there for/where they go? If they're for some uninstalled accessory I'm wondering if there's another end to them up front so I could hijack them for my amp remotes and save myself some wiring....

i had wires on eather side in the back of my 94 hatch and they were for the optional rear speakers.

tell me that silver plate with wiring int hemiddle of the seat frame the gas tank! tell me when seating int he rear seat your not seating on the tube that gas flows through it lol please tell me no

theyre not for optional rear speakers, theyre for the abs sensors

They're not for rear speakers, since I have rear speakers.

So would those be connected to anything on the other end since I don't have ABS? Is it advisable to repurpose them?

if you can trace the wire i dont see why not, but could end up more work just trying to find where the wire goes instead of running another wire

They are ABS sensors.
