    OBD2a to OBD1 conversion question

This has probably been answered before, but my search parameters didn't bring up anything helpful. Plus I'm lazy. Anyway, I'm going turbo D soon, using Uberdata tuning. I was just wondering if it was alright for me to switch to a stock, virgin P28 ecu for my '97 D16Y8 and driving on it for while N/A, untuned. I don't know how much different the fuel and timing maps can be from a Z6. Just curious.
