The Chilon's manual for my '92 civic says to use 10W30 or 10W40 motor oil. 10W40 is for highway driving. There is an upper and lower drain plug. The upper one is for level checking and adding more fluid. The lower one is for draining it. I plan to do mine tomorrow night.
I guess I'll use Honda MTF since it has been doing me well all these years so far.

Still here... sorta...
Motor oil is only to be used as a temporary solution. Do not use it long term. Use Honda Manual Transmission Fluid. You can use that oil you got in your engine - hence its title: MOTOR OIL!

I am lookin to change my tranny fluid soon/check it. Shifting seems kinda crappy.... How would I go about draining/filling it? Just wondering cuz I know you gotta fill it kinda weird.
