Default civic 97 radiator

hi .

i just have a quick question ....

is it possible to install a radiator ( automatic transmission type )

in my 97 civic ( manual ) ?

im asking ,because the guy from the autoparts store said that it was ok just to block the little outlets that cool the transmission fluid ( or something like that ) with some caps that come included ... but im not really sure if he was just sayin that to seel me the radiator...

im having a hardtime finding the manual type radiator,,,

thanx in advance ,,

btw ,,,my civic is has a manual tranny ... *i hope this is not confusing*

it will make no difference. the auto radiators have 2 little ports on the bottom tak to run the tranny fluid through. those passages will be completely empty and do not need to be used for a manual car actually you dont even need to plug them if you dont want to. I have an auto gsr radiator in my car right now as a matter of fact.
