2003 acura 1.7el canadian model blowing fi ecu fuse
anyone know where to start looking knock sensor needs to be replaced .
engine just died blown fuse for fi ecu 15 amp
put new one in blew as soon as car started
tried a 20 amp it also blew right away.
anyone know where to look ? could it be because of knock sensor or is it ecu?

Use an OBD-II reader to find out what the problem is.
PS, blowing a fuse usually means there's a short somewhere in the circuit the fuse protects. (too much current through the circuit); a bad knock sensor should just throw a ECU code, not blow a fuse.
what occurred just before the engine died?
take care,
ChrisS

Engine was running . Shut it off .went into store come back out turned key turned over started then stopped immediately.tried again no sound of fuel pump. Checked fuses #6 on main fuse box under hood showing fi ecu fuse 15 amp blown. Put newone in tried startingdid fire butstopped right away.
Putnewfuse in hooked up obd-11reader turned key on fuse blew right away.could not get code retrieved.

Dead ECU?
(something fried inside it)
Pull it and have it tested.
Also, look at the wiring harness where it attaches to the ECU for signs of shorting.
Check the ECU ground on the engine. (it was on the thermostat housing in my 1991 CRX Si; it's probably there on your car as well.)
