Hey guys, I'm kinda new to the forum; just stumbled upon it today. I actually don't really drive my Civic anymore. I use it for track purposes only, but here are some pics (the pictures are a few yrs old, some other stuff has been done to it since then, but not really anything major; I'm in the process of stripping it for the roll cage and all the safety equipment). anyway and here's a list of some of the mods.
Motor/Tranny: B18C
Engine Mods: Skunk2 Intake Manifold, short ram intake, AEM Pulleys, Type-R short shifter, NGK wires, DC Ceramic Headers, MagnaFlow/Type-R exhaust, Type-R cams, P28 ECU, etc, etc. (too many things to list).
Suspension Mods: Ground Control Coil-Overs, KYB adjustable gas shocks, Billtech front/rear sway bars, DC lower Tie bar, front/rear strut bars.
Exterior: Carbon Fiber hood, Tints (as you can tell I don't really care much about looks)

my first honda
Hi there,
I'm new to the forum. I just bought this 89 civic dx last Thursday. It has a lot of miles on it and runs a little rough, but the body & interior are in great shape.
So far the only mod I've accomplished is to break the hood latch I tried popping the hood by pulling on the cable under the bumper and pulled the cable right off! I guess I'll be stopping by the local honda shop & hope it won't cost too much to fix.
