    Manual Transmission Problem

I am currently driving a 1992 Honda Civic DX, and I believe my manual transmission needs to be replaced. Has about 100k miles on it. The 2nd gear grinds a ton, and 3rd gear has started to grind a bit too. How much would it cost to get a new or rebuilt manual transmission, and how much would it cost to get it installed?

Might as well plan a clutch change while you're at it.

hey, you're in Mpls. I've got a dx tranny sitting in my shed with about 40K on it that was smooth as butter when I used it. I'd let it go for $150... If you want to pay me to throw it in, I'd do that to! Hit me up on PM or AIM.

Would it really be necessary for a clutch change as well?

Bakeoff, I added you to AIM. I'll send you a message about it later.

if you have the tranny off and have access to the clutch you might as well change it, plus do you even have any idea when the clutch was last replaced?
