    Swap

    I have a friend with a 95 EX coupe. He just got a B16a1 from a 89-91 CRX. How hard is this swap? If I am not mistaken he has an OBD1 engine if not please correct me.

    your friends engine is OBD1
    the b16 is OBD0

    correct me if im wrong, but im prety sure

    the b16a is obd0

    you will need to convert to obd1 and get an obd1 p30 ecu

    the convert includes but is not limited to....obd1 b16a,b16b,b18c distributor, obd1 injectors(the ones off the ex will work fine) I would also HIGHLY recomend switching to a p30 intake mani with p30 or better throttle body so you dont have to T fit the vacuum lines to accept the firewall mounted map sensor...also he will have to switch over his VSS from his ex into the b16a as the b16a obd0 has mechanical speed sender as opposed to the obd1 electronic VSS....uhhh....I did this same swap to a 95 dx so any questions hit me up on PM

    yup...you will need either a B series Hydro tranny...oorrr the cable to hydro conversion kit from HASport.
