for OBD2 96-97 Accords.....

If you use an OBD2 engine on your OBD2 Accord, you can keep it OBD2 for smog legal purposes....no need to convert to OBD1. You can't use a 97+ Prelude ecu because of the immobilizer. However, if you can find a 96 USDM P13 or a JDM P5M ecu, you'll be fine. JDM ecu's do not have the immobilizer. I was able to pass smog and the state ref here in California. 100% Smog Legal Swap!
