Are you doing a color change? i just did a color change on a 94 civic from teal to silver w/blue pearl-was a pain in the ass! If you do plan on doing a color change just make sure you scuff and wax & grease remove every square cm of the car cuz a very small area of paint peel can turn into a disaster over time showing the old color underneath and a waste of time...trust me it happened to me. You are better off basecoating it the same color, or even adding a little pearl to the base or clear. I would not recommend a color change...unless you really know what your getting yourself into. If metallic color, I recommend practing on test fenders first because you gotta move like a robot when painting metallics or pearls. Also, use a decent gun and don't use cheap paint-especially Omni. I recommend using PPG or even DuPont, it maybe more expensive but trust me its worth it. Plan on having the car tied up for at least 2 weeks, this is a very big job. If you have any other questions let me know. Good luck.
